Q. Why is Deaf Club basketball nowadays so different from
Deaf Club basketball of years ago?

A. In the past deaf basketball teams had to be affiliated
with bonafide, recognized deaf (social) clubs. It is
different these days, and as a result, we pretty much do not
know who the top teams are or who the top players are or
who the top rookies are! Deaf fans, years ago, would get
together and discuss Deaf Club basketball. Deaf fans, nowadays,
would discuss Super Bowl candidates and NCAA basketball. Very
sad !
